I have not posted an update on Kyle in a while, so going to give a quick on here:

He is doing pretty good. He has been feeling pretty home sick recently. He has not seen any of his family since the middle of March and he is starting to feel a bit lonely. Has has made some friends, although most of them are girls, it seems. I tease him about being quite the ladies man and he just tells me to be quiet. LOL He has gotten to where he calls me every day again sometimes twice a day depending on his mood. Right now he asks me about the dog and I just keep telling him she is doing ok, which is not a lie. Considering the circumstances, she is doing ok.

I believe he has decided to stick with Nellis AFB. He has discovered that is the home base of the Thunderbirds and that with what he is doing, he could be working with them, so that is a bit exciting for him.

Looks like he won't get to come home until Oct or Nov. School is taking longer than he thought. He is anxious to come home though.

All and all he is doing well. He says not too much changes, he gets up, eats, goes to school, comes back to dorm, goes to PT, back to dorm, shower, eat, do homework, watch a movie or something like that, go to bed and start all over again. He says pretty boring, so...

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know how he is doing.

This is my son. He graduated 2007 and went to basic in Jan and is now at Tech School at Keesler AFB in Mississippi. He was 18 when he went in and turned 19 last month. Had been wanting to go into the military since he was in the 4th grade and has stuck to his guns all these years and now he is following his dream.
