Don't have a lot of time right now, but did want to give everyone an update on my son. He called me Saturday after getting back from Warror Week. I asked him how it was and he told me "It was fun!" It was funny hearing him say that but he said he really enjoyed it except the MRE's did not fill him up and he was a bit tired. I asked him how he did and he said real well. I am not sure what exactly what it is called, but I believe he told me he almost made "Expert Marksman" shooting the M16. He said he was a little off. This is great for a kid that has never shot a gun before other than a BB gun or a squirt gun. He told me he has also almost accomplished being able to get an extra pass to be able to spend more time with me when I get there. He just has to shave a few more seconds off of his running and I forget what else he said. But he said he will have it done. He said he wanted to spend as much time with me as he could. He also told me about the pictures and DVD he bought for me. The pictures are of him and the DVD has to do with everything he has done from the first day at basic. Not the it will only show him, but it will be his group. All and all he is doing good. I am so excited about going that it isn't funny. 8 more days, not counting today before I leave and 9 more days before I see him!!! Can't wait!
Now, he didn't tell me but he told his sister, he was informed that after tech school he may have to go to Iraq for 16 months! I about freaked out when my daughter was talking to me about it, since he had not told me. Then she felt bad about saying something because I started crying. Unfortunatly, this is something I have not control of.....(and I don't like it!) I don't know if this is something definite or not, so I am going to take things one day at a time until I know for sure.....and then I will totally FREAK OUT!!!
Did get my car reserved through priceline.com. Costing me a total of $132 for 5 days, but I do have to have $200 for a deposit, which I will get back when I turn the car back in. Been trying to map some things out also. Don't want to get lost, that is for sure.
Anyway, just wanted to give you a quick update on everything so far. Will keep you posted.
Oh, and if you don't see me as much over the next little bit, I have got tons of things going on, so may not be able to get on as much as I would like to, but will try.

I am very excited! Just wish I could get over this bug that I have gotten. I feel better than I did this weekend, but still not over it. Trying not to do too much because I know this weekend is going to be busy. I plan on starting to do some packing this weekend and getting things together. I know I don't leave until Wednesday, but with having to work next week, well, I hate waiting until the last minute.
I have already warned everyone that you all will probably be bombarded with pictures when I get back! LOL
I also want to give a very heartfelt thanks to those of you that donated points to me to help me out! I so appreciate it. You guys are the best and I mean it from the bottom of my heart!
