OK, just wanted to give a short update on Kyle. He is doing well, except he does not know what to do with himself now that he has some free time. He says he has been going to the gym and working out some and checking out the base. He did tell me that he fell asleep once in class and had to stand in the back of the room for the rest of the class, but he wasn't the only one. He said he was so tired that it just happened, but he says he feels better now that he has had more sleep. After his first phase of tech school is finished, he is going to go see about becoming part of the "White Ropes", I think that is what he called them. Anyway, not exactly sure what all that is other then I know they help out during Mass on Sundays and not sure what else they do. He has gotten to where when he calls he is full of it, but still pretty home sick. He has been thinking about his birthday coming up in June and is wanting us to come visit him. Not sure if I can get the time off, but thought if I couldn't, it might be nice if my husband and daughter went to MS to visit him since I saw him graduate. He will turn 19!! He told me one of his higher ups asked him his birth date one day and he told them it was "6-7-89" and he said they didn't believe him so he had to pull out his license to show them proof. He said they laughed. He has been bugging me about some goodies, so I finally got some goodies sent out to him yesterday. He should have it by tomorrow so he will be happy. But he is doing well and is very positive about things. Told him I was going to start Weight Watchers at work and he told me he was proud of me, but that I was ok just the way I was. Told me not to get too skinny because when I came to see him, he didn't want to have to threaten the guys to leave me alone...yeah right, like that is going to happen, but it was cute him saying it. Then he said well maybe he would let me defend myself....he wouldn't want to mess up the "shine on his shoes" and he laughed his crazy little laugh. He is such a smart-b utt!!! I know he doesnt' get that from me either!!! I would never say things like that. (do y'all believe that???) Will post updates as I get them.
I am sorry for not being on too much, it still has been pretty busy. We have been trying to get our 1/2 bath put back together, (brother bought paint due to hating the green striped paper that was in there) and still trying to get things situated in the kids' room where they swapped rooms. No rest for the weary.

2n, It is good to hear he is doing well. Biloxi is a really interesting place. After we went, I looked for pics on the internet to see how things were before the hurricane. The quarters we stayed in were underwater after the hurricane. They are really nice now. HE sounds like he is in good spirits. And so are you....I am so happy for you all.
