I have to make this quick because I will be leaving shortly, but did want to give a little update on what has been going on with my son.

He is still in school in Biloxi, MS and he is doing well. The ding-dong let someone talk him into Amway, although it is going by a different name, but it is Amway! If one has the time to really commit to that, yes they can make money, (me and my ex were in it and only ended up buying from ourselves but knew people who did well), but he just does not have the time and of course being young, it sounded like a good deal. Guess he will have to live and learn. But other than that, he is doing great. He has made several friends and it seems like over half of them are female. He told me I raised him too well because he always has girls coming up and wanting to talk to him and hang with him....I think it is because he is so HANDSOME!!!! Wink

He has really gotten into playing pool. He is really enjoying that and he also has been talking about one girl in particular that he met there. She is also in the AF and just recently got stationed at Ft Dill in CA. He tells me how "awesome" she is and how funny he feels when he talks to her and how she can pull him out of a bad mood and how much I would like her, her values are the same as his, etc. I have never heard him talk about a girl like this before. He is going to go try to see her in Aug or Sept.

He is also going to try to come home for 4th of July and surprise his sister! She will love it and he is looking forward to it. I talk to him several times a week. I am better than I was about him being gone, but his birthday is coming up on June 7th and I am really starting to miss him again! Tonight some people from my other message board and my family are celebrating his birthday. We are going to video record it and take pictures and they are getting him gifts and everything and then I am going to pack everything up and send it to him. I am going to get some Hostess cupcakes and some candles, party hat, etc and send him a birthday party in a box.

Well, about time for me to head out, 30 minutes, but did want to give this quick up date. I am still so proud of him!!!!

I sure will try. We just got home from his party, which we were late for due to unforeseen circumstances. A little disappointed first that we were late, second that there were not that many people that showed up. But things happen.

Anyway, it is about bed time. Lots of housework tomorrow.
