Hey all ~

Have not been able to get on here in a while, but know that I am thinking of everyone and wishing everyone well. Keep up the fight! Congrats to all that were able to redeem their points. So glad to be here with all you wonderful people. Things have just been a little crazy for me. May not be working at my job for too much longer, depends on who they get in to replace my boss. He is quitting and cannot work for another a-hole again (already been there and done that a few years ago). Am just waiting and seeing, so a little stressed and tense right now. MIL is doing ok. She came though everything fine and hopefully she will get to go home soon and my hubby can come home. Been a little stressfull here at home also, financially, but am trying to do the best I can. Son comes home from visiting my folks on Monday. Daughter had her first Marching Band performance last night. She did fine, for as nervous as she was. Working on my donations for MDA Lock-up, Band fundraisers, etc. Let's see, what else.....heck, can't really think...mind is all fuzzy with everything. But did want to pop on here and say hello and to let you guys know that I have not jumped ship and hopefully will be back on regularly as soon as possible. Take care all!!

Thanks guys! I miss everyone too. I am really hoping that I can come back on here soon on a more regular bases. Like I said, it has been super crazy. Did almost leave my job today. Boss yelled and cursed at me because I turned the AC up a bit. He has it down to almost 60 and it is freezing in my office. I sit there with a sweater on and the heater on and sometimes my teeth chatter. I know he only has a short time left and for the most part, we have gotten along, but I sure as heck am not going to be treated like this his last few weeks! The VP called today right after it had happened and I was upset and told him about it, (boss had just left), and told him that if this kept up, I would be gone. Bad part was, my son was there (he just got in from KY), and I did not appreciate being talked to like, especially with him there! So stressed right now isn't funny!

Wow, I know working for a bad boss is the pits--our dept head is famous for A. taking home almost two hundred g's a year and B. shoving almost all of her work on the rest of the dept. It really pisses us off...and I just wish I could get a job like that, lol...

I can totally relate to how busy band stuff is - my son was in band for 4 years marching practice the whole summer and then fall, and then we went into regular band performances....I think being a band mom is a job in itself! I myself haven't been on too much - alot of stress at my end. We are all here for ya!

Hubby is home!!!! Very Happy

So far his mom seems to be doing ok. So glad, although she did want him to stay. He told her that he needed to come home to his family and I guess she tried to lay a guilt trip on him that she was his family too. But he has been gone for like 3 weeks, although it seems longer. He told her that my paycheck wasn't making the bills, so he needed to get back to work or he could also loose his job. She didn't like it, but that is tough. She has other kids there to help her out and she also has a nurse that will be with her some, so she isn't going to be alone.

Things are still pretty busy, but I am trying to pop in here off and on when I can. May not be very much, but at least something.

School started today and my daughter was very excited since she is starting high school. I think she got up at 4:30 this morning to make sure she was all "prettied" up! LOL She will be one tired girl tonight, after spending all day in school and then marching band practice.

Anyway, my lunch is about over, so everyone take care and know I am thinking about you guys!!!!

I am glad that your husband is home and this mother is doing well. I understand that mother in laws like to lay guilt trips on their childre, I have one that does that reguarly. Glad your back once again, we will see you soon. Take care

Thanks everyon, I am working on it slowly. Things have just been so crazy at work, I am lucky to be able to breath! Our VP has been down 3 times in the past 3 weeks, so that is keeping me hopping. I try to pop in a post a few things off and on. I have not abandoned everyone!!! Cool
