Can a debt management program help to stop wage garnishment?

They don't directly help you to stop wage garnishment. However, if you're able to pay off your debts, then the creditors may not file lawsuit against you. This in turn may help you to avoid wage garnishment. 

We need more information.  Are you wages already being garnished?  For what type of debt?  Judgment?  Student loan?

Really a dmp cant do squat for a garnishment.
