No, you cannot be charged with check fraud.  They cannot even take you to court since payday loans are ALL ILLEGAL in Connecticut!!!  Stay off the phone!!!

Yep, all PDL companies are illegal in the state of Connecticut. Because they are illegal, they try to scare debtors into paying up. You only need to pay back the principal amount.

My previous posters are right. Illegal lenders won’t be able to take any legal action against you. Close your bank account asp to stop unauthorized withdrawal. Ask them for the refund, if you have overpaid them.
