I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I have a ton of loans out and 4 store front loans with Advance America, Mister Money and 2 with EZ Money. I have not defaulted yet but they are due tomorrow and I can't pay them. I have been a good customer for a long time but I am in too deep and need to set up payments. If I go in the stores today and ask for their help, do you think they will work with me? Thanks

Try www.nfcc.org. This is the site for theNational Foundation for Credit Counseling. Depending on your state, you can try Catholic Charities or your Yellow Pages. Definately try to find a non-profit organization as opposed to one of the companies that advertise on the internet, they charge way too much!!!

Hi, I was told by a mod to PM you and maybe I could get some help.I have three payday loans (worth $1001), and I only have a monthly income of just under $700. I have loans with Ace, Check Into Cash and MoneyTree.I'm not trying to get out of my debt, but simply get on a payment plan I can afford, or I will have to close my bank account and default (which I really don't want).I already had a payment plan with money tree that I payed off in the spring, and they said I'm only eligible once per year, plus as I understand it in washington state you have to have 4 consecutive loans to get on a payment plan (I have only 2 each with Ace and Check Into Cash).Do you have any suggestions? I found the corporate numbers for MoneyTree and Ace, but can't find one for Check Into Cash.I'm leaving next month for more than 2 weeks and I cannot afford to pay anything next month. :(Thanks if you can help.

You're more than welcome to ask for the overpayment, but they do not have to give it to you.

Thanks, have a great 4th, too! I really do appreciate your side of things, as it is always good to have different opinions and views.I just am biased sometimes because payday loans are prohibited in my states and I only had to deal with shady, illegal ones!

Thanks for commenting, I am sorry I did not see this sooner. I really did not mean offense to you. :) of course I am all for people paying back what they borrowed (my posts here show that I always advise to pay back what was owed). I personally have settled with my payday loans that I had last year and none of them were legal. I just do not know the person posting that and do not know their situation - perhaps they intended to pay but have gotten ill, for example? that is why I give them the benefit of a doubt.take care and have a great week.

Ok. You have all of your "bills", a debt consolidation, and the PDL's. Here we go...Your bills do not really look like they can be reduced. You said that you need to continue with the 1400 for mortgage and eventually can get some relief. When will that be?The debt consolidation is 350. Who is that with? I would explain your situations a see of they can adjust the terms.Now for the PDL's. They all appear to be unlicensed in your state or any state for that matter. Again, how much did you borrow and how much have you paid on the current loans in fees? Since they are unlicensed, you are only obligated to pay back principal and any fees you have paid go to the balance.Check into these items and get back to me. You really are pretty close to having everything covered and money to spare.

This is not my first time borrowing loans. I have been doing this since last sept but I only dealt wit ameriloans and cash stargroup. I need another loan so I went online and applied. I don't have a problm paying the fees but look if I continue they will eventually get higher and higher and how will i pay my bills. I just don't want the companies to take advantage of me like some of the people i read about so please i don't mean it as i'm trying to be cheap I jsut know I can't do it all at once that all please offer me your advice

I had a payday loan that is over a year old.. I got behind when I lost my job. (due to the economy) anyway I had a loan through Upfront Money and stopped paying them.. about 3 weeks ago Kim Black from Sterling and King called me she is really really rude and now threatening the authorities what rights do I have, as do they??? I live in Utah and got the loan while living in Utah it was done online. thanks
