Hi, Hope all is well. just wanted to ask, i tried modifying my 2nd mortgage(quity line 53000) i was decline i am trying to settle. I wanted to know if i need to give them my bank information? What do i need to give and what dont i need to give? What about pay stubs? i gave that when they tried doing the modification. If you have any advice or answers it would be greatly appreciated.

What is the current story with Wells Fargo? I had a friend who settled for 40% last year before charge off date. They are now telling me only 50% and my charge off date is June 30. Any data for me?
There's a lot more to the equation that you should be looking at, particularly if Wells can seek and geta deficiency judgement against you. You should look up CCP 580b an 580d to try to figure that out. Also, it's not an easy road, and they may still foreclose on your house, as that is a right they maintain as a secured lender. Anyway, if you can afford to pay the monthly payments, I'd just keep paying if I were you. A lot of things can go wrong with what you are looking at doing.
