Academy services has to be the most ruthless obnoxious rude people I have ever dealt with in my life! They have threatened myself and called my place of employment and threatened my boss also! They have lied and used illegal collection methods! I stronly recomend not dealing with them at all and filing a complaint with your atorney generals office if they treat you like they do so many others!

They called me today and left a message with a case number to inquire about my ex from 1991. After reading all these notes, I suppose I should be ready for some harrassment. Has anyone been able to be successful in filing a complaint?

This is the rudest company I have ever worked with! First, they called my mother in Michigan. We live in Indiana! When my Mom called and gave me the info, I immediately called them back. The lady I talked to was very rude...(Lynn Trainer) She told me that we were being sued and that 35% of my husband wages would be garnished, ect. I explained that we had a lot of medical bills and unfortunately were going thru a bankruptcy. When I asked why she called my Mom instead of us, she got nasty...said they did an asset search and it was her job to notify us that we were being sued and would do so by any means. End of call. First thing the next morning, my sister-in-law called. She had recieved a call as well. We do not have an unlisted number and I cannot figure why they would call our family members and not us! So, I called Ms Trainer back to find out who else she called. she would not tell me and would only say that if she "had to call my damn dog" she would! Their website is a farce! Do not trust these people!!

Just received a threatening call from Academy, was told to call Ray King x2546, he was abusive in the voicemail, why would he expect that I'd call him back? This was my first call from them.

This company is doing very illegal dealings to get people to try to pay. The Fair Credit Act says that after they have been told that they cannot talk to you at work, they continue to call. Also, they have a habit of lying about who they are in order to talk to you, which is also illegal, as they are not allowed by the same act, to misrepresent themselves. They have several numbers. 215-281-7500; 800-441-6881; 800-220-0605; as well as a few others. I just keep hanging up. It's been over six months now and still they try. HAHAHAHAHAHA

This company is not a member of the BBB.
