They called me asking for my mom. I told them that I was the son, that she didn't live here, and ask what they were calling about. They mentioned needing her capital one acct #. I told them that we only talked to capital one about capital one. they hung up. I called back, gave them my phone # and ask again why they were calling. She said she couldn't discuss anything with me since I wasn't the account holder. I told her that since she f**king called me, we would discuss it. She reminded me she was recording the call. I said good, then you need to take any name & number that she had tagged on this account, off and stop harrassing us with her bulls**t scam & bogus scam company. she told me to watch my language or she would hang up. I told her to put someone one on the phone who spoke english. Some other woman picked up and started on me about my language. I told her the samething about the account, only cap1, don't call back, do not call others with the same last name.... She said she would disconnect it I kept up with the language. I said no, you fking called me & we ARE gonna talk about it. Told her again to stop harassing us. She said blah blah... I told her again. Then told her not to call me again from fking india trying to sell me some fking goat meat. She still couldn't hang up since I called her. I gave my # one last time and told her not to call anyone with that # or last name.

Sorry, but you have to put any request in writing for no calls. And the fact that they called you is moot....if you are not the debtor, they cannot discuss it with you. I would have hung up on you too.

Sub: #276 Allied Interstate Collection uses illegal collection tactics

Allied Interstate Collection collects debts illegally. Apparently, they recently purchased a debt from LVNV Funding that was already paid off over 5 years ago. They tacked on about $400 worth of their own fees to a debt that was already paid. I am now going to write and submit a complaint the BBB, the District Attorney and the FTC for violations against the FDCPA. Then I am sending them a debt validation request and warning them that I have documentation (because I do) and if they try to pursue collection I will sue them and LVNV Funding for illegal debt collection practices. They are in violation of the following items A) they purchased and are trying to collect a debt that is already paid; B) the amount they are trying to collect is incorrect; C) The debt is way over SOL and I could go on, but those are the violations I can think of right off the top of my head! Allied Interstate and LVNV Funding better get their acts together, because if they don't stop their illegal practices on attempting to collect this debt that was already paid I am going to sue for as many violations as possible!!!!!!! And I hope one of their idiot collectors reads this post and comments. I can't wait to tangle with them!!!!! I will take them down!!!!

Allied Interstate Collections also attempts to collect debts that were already paid off years ago. Additionally, they obviously like to attempt to collect debts that are way out of SOL.

Anyone receiving calls from debt collectors for debts not owed by you need to first read this article and then file your complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

Don't know who this company or person is. Comes up unknown on caller id. I have read all the complaints against this so called company and can't understand why they are still allowed to annoy and harass people. To me it seems like a fake company. Why isn't something done about this. If anyone has any suggestions on how to close them down please reply. thank you.

Allied Interstate calls everyday with a recording. You can't call back. when you answer they recording leaves a number before you can even get a pen. [I don't know about you, but how many people answer the phone with a pen in their hand.] We don't ven know what itis abiout or if it is even for us. I'm getting really frustrated with this, that is why I'm trying to find out their number on the commuter. Thanks for this site! Would you know a number to call?

If they call everyday, keep a pen and paper by the phone to write down the number.

You would have to call the number they are calling from...there are too many Allied offices across the US to just give you a number.

This number calls everyday all times of the day. Never leaves a message. Finally got tired of this and called the number. The person identifiy that he works with Allied Interstate agency which is a collection agency. He stated that they were trying to get a hold of Mrs. xxxx whom I have never heard of. I instructed him to remove my number from his call list of trying to find Mrs.XXXX and he tried to get info about who I was and I told him agin that Mrs XXXX does not live here and to stop call. Stated it would take up to 48 hours for the calls to stop.

They have been calling me 5+ times per day for the past two weeks. They ask for someone else, and I have told them numerous times to stop calling. I filed a complaint with the donotcall.gov, fcc.org, and ftc.org websites and will be filing with the AG in the state of TN. Their practices are illegal and I am going to do my best to get them shut down. The harassment from this company is ridiculous and I would like to know how they manage to stay in business like this. If everyone on here files complaints with the federal organizations, maybe they will be forced to shut down.....

The do not call list does not apply to collection agencies.

Have you done a written request for them to stop calling you??

Don't waste your time...you wont get them shut down.

I'm not to savvy with the letters of these.
What is the CFDA? I've been getting called by these people for the past few months, and always coming up as UNNAMED CALLER, On my cell phone, and this morning on my house phone, without caller ID, so I answered. When I asked they're name the man gave Allied Interstate, when U asked the purpose of the call they said it's between them and Dale, than they asked if I was he and I said No,and they hung up.
