Better business bureau here my call! Get some employees have have some semblance of customer service skills! I work for a major corporation and could have one day help make my company your customer. Your personel need to realize who it is they could potentially be on the phone with.

He's not a debt collector, he's a troll. Ignore them and they disappear. On the main topic, I haven't heard from these folks in months, next time they call though, I'll go to their office, take pictures of the office, folks working there, etc.. and post a link to the pictures here. It's high time these scam artists are exposed.

Default Harrassment, Unsolicited Phone Messages and Outright Lies...

Hello there fellow introublers,
I have a phone message which relates to ADC..."we will make a decision by..." I have no bloody idea as to what these worms are talking about! My spouse is a cardiac patient and has just recently been released from the hospital. She did not need to hear that crap on our tele. There is no information from these uncouth people save a phone number (1-800-275-7776 ext.609 to which of course they didn't answer).I looked on the web and came across this link and found you folks. Having read your upset comments, may I suggest sending a commentary to your state representative with the website and phone numbers and alias's? I have sent mine to Sen. Marcie Kapture. What good will this do? Some of you may have taken the time to have your phone #'s placed on the "do not call" list, it is a federal sanction you know and since you initially don't know that the harassment that you have received is not a scammer or scheemer it's only logical to think so under the circumstances. Give it a shot! Another person has suggested calling back and calling back etc., excellent idea plus, you might want to include your local POLICE Department or Emergency Services. These phone directory numbers automatically bill to that other number.

I had the same problem but the number you listed is wrong it is 7176 on the end. they called me with the same thing but asked for a person that wasn't me. I called the number and the lady said I wouldn,t be called again.

Default what the hell

Hi, I kept getting hangup calls from the same number. After looking the number up on the web and finding this great site, I just called back these people from the number on my caller ID> they said they were looking for a "Maria." This sounds really fishy.

Debbie, if they were looking for "Maria" and knowing that there is no such person with that name; I guess they should stop contacting you

I'm very thankful I found this site. I have heard several messages like the ones describe above, i just deleted them. When i looked up the company (they never say where they're calling from) i found this site and now i'm just going to send a letter. Thanks for all the advice everyone, and I'll see how this turns out!!

Some bills are just stupid. Like movie rentals come on! You know no one likes you, right? Ok, just checking--take our money if that makes you happy. Everyone deserves a friend and when people won't be I guess money is next. Have a nice day. Tell, your money hello for me!

Default Contact the PUC and fine Allied

I get these BS calls all the time, and since all of my credit records (from all 3 majors) are clean, I can tell you it's BS. If you are on the TX “Do Not Call List”, you can submit a complaint against them at 888-782-8477.
Since the fines are up to “$5,000 per day per violation”, we can all hit these jerks where it really hurts! I encourage you to file today…it's pretty simple.

Default ADC

I have the same problem with this company, however, I don't have any outstanding debts and have no need to call them back per their recorded message. They don't even ask for a particular person. They are calling for someone who used to have my phone number. Did I mention I have been getting these same calls (several a week) for now 2 1/2 years! ADC needs to be shut down immediately.

Default re; returned cheques

I have to admit that my past irresponsibilty with credit has landed me a client of these idiots. I have made several attempts to set up a post-dated cheque re-payment with them, all was good with their agent at the time of the set up. Well, 1, 2 and 3 cheques were cashed, and then I recieve a bulk of the post dated cheques back with a VOID scratched through them...with no covering letter or privacy paper enclosed. The envelope in which these now voided cheques arrived was totally see-through.....and what's more aggrivating is that I have NOT recieved any kind of phone call and/or letter explaining what has happened.....and the whole while these idiots continue to think they are going to be able to rack up interest etc......I don't think what they have done is professional, fair or realistic. They had enough post dated cheques to deal with my situation, and what I thought was an agreement with them was ended without notice, explanation or reason. I know have to continue to fight to have interest removed and go through the aggrivation of dealing with these amatures, who are probably all clients of the company anyway.....couldn't get any more mid-west than this outfit !

Default Allied Data Corporation--a debtors nightmare

They are nothing but a colletion agency, and can do NOTHING to you except threaten you with legal action and making decisions. Trust me, the only decision they will make is to move on to the next sucker, hoping he or she will pay. It's better to pay your past due bills directly to the company that you owe, and bypass the morons like ADC, who pay their collectors approx. $6.50 per hr/plus a bonus on monies they bring in.

Ok this practice is ILLEGAL and against fdcpa LAWS. Being a "debt" collector you should know this
