Sub: Allied Harrasement continues for three years!

Allied has done the same to me, and continues. I finally got a hold of someone, and they said their Federal Government allows Allied to make an arrest, and as many phones as they see fit. When the lady said their Federal Government, I would almost guess they are part of The New World Order, and the Rothschild clan. I called our local Sheriff, and the officer I spoke to on the phone said they have the right to call as many times as necessary, and there is nothing they can do, but if Allied wants to throw me in prison, owned by The New World Order, let them.
In the last three years I have changed my number numerous times, and they still call? They even got my prepaid cell phone number? Tell me this agency is not part of some World Take Over thing.
Do we have to go there and pull their plug. I am sure this agency, and perhaps others are into your computer too! If they can find a prepaid cell phone number I just got yesterday, there is something going on here!

Robert Anton Wilson (RIP) could come up with a great paranoid yarn, but your skills at fiction dwarf his in comparison. But thank you for playing!

Sub: harrassing calls, i reall wish they would stop

For the past few months every and every week or so, I have been getting calls from The Allied Data Corp. I am not having any issues with them. I never even knew of them before they called. I wasn not even in debt or anything for them to call me. When they first started calling, it really freaked me out. I had no idea what they wanted . It's so aggravating!!! I wish they would just stop calling!!!!. Oh, and to make things so much more " fun" , today I tried to speak with a supervisor . When I asked they were very rude, and put me on hold. Then, they had the nerve to hang up on me. I called back again only to be hung up on yet another time. I have told them to take me off their list twice already! I hope legal actions is taken soon against them and they would just stop these calls to everybody!!!!!!!

These people at Allied Data Corporation do what they do because we (you and me) let them get by with it. The fair debt collection act, among other things, says "if the collector threatens you, you have recourse against them. The fdca also says that if they make harrassing calls you have recourse against them. I have received two calls from an olderly man who says I better call him or have my attorney call him by Monday noon. He alwasy calls on Sunday afternoon. I would suggest that you go to your local district attorney's office or sherrif's department and file a complaint for harrassment. In my area it doesn't cost a penny to make this type of complaint. I complained. Also if Allied Data Corporation has not shown any document to verify they have the right to collect from you, and are harrassing you for payment. Consumer debt in Texas has a four year limit. Most of these collection agencies have bought accounts that have already been written off by the original creditor and if you haven't paid anything in four years, legally you home free. Stand up to these vultures!

I kept getting calls not from this company but from another and I had someone answer my phone and tell them I was dead. I got off that phone list! Because this company is a collection - not sure if that would work but it might give you a break until they figure out you aren't.

When you know it is them calling --- ANSWER YOUR PHONE WITH A MESSAGE --- use a pocket tape recorder (costs like $1 and start off by telling them that this conversation is being recorded and will be used in any action against them. Use their same legal lingo back at them. Record it and if you request for them to stop calling and they don't - file a report with attorney generals office in your state.. most forms for that stuff are online and then mail or fax it to them.

I am going nuts! My last name is Johnson. I get several calls a day looking for Carlo and Blanca and Monica and Joe and Ester and on, and on, and on! Just because my last name is Johnson I don't know or am not related to every Johnson on the face of the earth. When I can get someone to answer the phone they say "oh we will erase your name from this account" and then they call me later that same day with another Johnson! Any help getting this to stop???

I haven't gotten any calls from Allied because I guess my number is changed but they put a check through my account stating I authorized the payment and have an address on the check I never lived at before. I've never sold anything for Avon before and have no idea where else they could have gotten my name but mainly I just would like to know how they got my bank account information. I've gone to the bank to put a dispute on the check. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

I started getting these phone calls and messages 4 months ago on a bi-weekly basis. It is just awful especially when we pay all of our credit card balances completely (we only have 2 so it keeps things simple!). Thank you for all those who posted to help us get through these harassments! It's good to feel we're not alone.

I used to work for ADC, and yes it is all a scam. They have been sued a numerous amount of time, and yet they still use the same technique to collect debts. They will call people who have paid debts already and argue with them to try and get them to pay it again so they can get the money. If you tell them they have the wrong number they do not have the riht to call you again. Believe it or not 85% of the things they do is against the law, but they tell the employees most people dont know their rights so they can do it. They leave checking and credit card information laying around. nosthing is secure because it is an open call center, and everyone basically sits side by side. It is a waste of time asking to speak to a supervisor because all they do is have the person sitting next to them come and get on the phone. The employees have no benefits, and only make $8.00 an hour. It is a true hell hole. They have a lot of very unprofessional employees. If enough people contact the company they really owe the debt to like AVON for example and complain then they will slowly lose clients. Feel free to ask any questions. I am no longer employed there because I could no longer be apart of the scams they have!!!!

I got a voice message stating they needed to talk to me or my legal representative immediately. Didn't say with whom they wanted to speak. I called them back. They were looking for 2 people who haven't had this number for at least a year and a half. Woman who answered was cordial at first but not exactly polite, said she would delete the number. I said "thank you." As I started to tell her how rude the message had been, she said nothing but just hung up on me.
