I called to have someone call me back regarding a bill and they called back threatening me. It was a lousy 100 and these guys were acting like it was thousands. I paid it and will contact the lender if it was not paid. If it was then I am going to call them and if was paid I will then get an attorney for their neglience and harrassment.

You can check your latest credit report to verify this account. If it has been paid off, then your case will become stronger.

Allied Data Corporation is owned and operated by two redneck brothers, Ray and Bob Blair. The operations manager is Keith Simmons. Anyone wanting any further information about this operation, feel free to ask. I know all. I used to work there.

I wouldn't doubt it...I just can't believe that seemingly very unintelligent people can't start a business like this, harass people and continue to think it's ok business ethic. Thanks for posting on this site...it's great to hear from someone who actually used to work for one of these companies! Thanks for helping out! :-)

I have been getting these obnoxious messages left on my machine for a while. I assumed they were only skanky phone solicitors since I have good credit and no delinquent bills. I would just delete the messages until the last time I got "We will make a decision without you..." I actually wrote the # down and tried to call them to tell them to stop with the phone calls, tell them I am on the "do not call list" and threaten to report them to whoever I could think of. Of course, nobody answered the phone which is when I decided to check them out on line and found this page. I had no idea they were a collection agency. Now I'm really pissed since I don't owe anyone any $. I can only hope that one of the incompetent morons can manage to take his head out of his butt long enough to answer the phone next time I try to call. If they don't take me off their bogus list, I will be contact the BBB, my local police dep't and anyone else I can possible think of. I'm glad I found this website and wish everyone luck with removing these irritating maggots!

I would like to ask the gentleman who used to work there if he knows their fax number? I have a similar issue of a bill that has already been paid according to the original company but they will not stop calling. thanks

Could ADC really get you arrested for an outstanding bill? They keep threatening me for past payment of 253.00 with Avon.

Legal actions can be taken if the proven debt has been left unpaid. But, I believe they can't imprison anyone.

Above is ADC's fax #, however, do expect that faxing them will clear up your problem and stop the phone calls. Faxes come in, and are put in a pile which SOMEONE eventually looks at. Your best bet is to get the fax # to the original creditor you paid, and fax your copy of receipt or front and back of your cancelled check to them. Also, tell them to pull your account from Allied Data Corporation. Otherwise you will get no satisifaction. Allied's response to your fax, when they eventually review it (if they review it at all) will be.....well (your creditor) states that you still owe that amount. Evidently you had another acount with them and this is for THAT account. And if its a money order receipt, forget it. They always counter with (1) did you get a signed receipt from the post office showing that your payment was received at their office. (2) well, it must have gotten lost in the mail, because we checked with the creditor and they say you still owe that amount. (3) Did you let someone use your name and ID? They must have ran up this bill and not paid it, but its under your name and SS#, so you do still owe it. Trust me, they have all the comebacks to every way you tell them you paid the account and even have proof of payment. Again, your best bet is to get ahold of the origianl creditor and try to get it cleard up with them directly. Then tell them what response you got from Allied and tell them they need to pull your account from Allied Data Corporation.

is this legal?! i've received 2 phone calls today from these people. after researching the # i find this site with everyone pondering over the same Q's as i have been. what makes this even stranger is the fact that i live more than 700 miles away from houston, where the call is coming from! somebody needs to put a stop to these people waisting everyone's time.

To all individuals who have talked with this company. I know that debt consolidation companies main goal is to eliminate peoples debt by providing them solutions to removing their debt. However, why is it if individuals who have difficulty keep getting harrassed by these individuals with the company. They need to understand a very moral thing. In today's world, individuals with money are called "friend", but those without money are called nothing at all. How can people I ever happened to people's good word. Nothing anymore is done without documentation. The Nation's people's privacy is invaded all due to our President deciding back in 1990 to irritate middle eastern people and in return they ruined our privacy when we all were good faithful people. We all need help but we also need time to get things going in the right direction and we all need everyone to unite and bring our nation to its health once again and help those that are in need. Individuals are not the problem to the nations debt total but it is the nations economy that is ruined by these federal agencies withholding the real truth behind everything. What we all need is the nation's people to receive the real truth.

I think it is a shame that ADC has to harrassment people that have already seen out money to paid their bill. Calling late in the evening and no one talking but a automative machine. Very rude people when you do get someone at their office. Talks down to you and they put their pants on like everyone else. How would do they like if some one done them that way? I sure don't.
