I have tried to open new bank accounts and they told me I was on chexsystems I paid the bank I owed. But when I try to open an account they tell my I'm in chexsystems. I got my report and there are no negative reports on it. But I still keep getting turned down. Why is this?

Welcome.if you have your report in hand that shows no negative reports, take that back to the bank that turned you down, show them that and then have them show you where and why they see you on checksystems.

They could be looking at a number of other things. An Equifax report, a SCAN report. I am not certain. What bank is this?

How long does it usually take to receive a chexsystems report. I order mine a week ago and still haven't gotten it. I don't want to put any money in my account for fear that the pdl's have been checking it.

I had nothing on report no negatives and still got turned down wells fargo never reported me. I owed them like 68 dollars. I have tried bank of America several credit unions, and local banks and have been turned down . I am not in chex but I am being treated like that

Every time i try to open an account my chex report comes up. I order it and nothing is on there. take it to a bank and they still turn me down. Wow all of this crap for a measly 68 bucks I hate banks and will never bank again

What exactly does your chexsystems report say? Do it show reporting banks but no money owed?

no banks reporting at all my report is blank on all the pages. I have no money owed. I feel like trying to file a suit.

I know that some banks do run credit checks as MCA stated, have you checked your credit reports lately? I think that I would start looking at that first of all.

i have looked at my credit report all i have is a couple credit cards in the negative nothing else. I even asked banks and credit unions if I owed credit card companies will they turn me down? They said no. Its my chex report

It depends on the bank. Some banks do not use chexsystems. Some use Telecheck and some use a credit report. Chances are you have contacted those that only use chexsystems...May I ask where you live?

It wasn't telecheck never wrote a bad check. I live in Sacramento CA

Try an " in store " location of US Bank... they will approve you even with a chexsystems report. But you must apply at one of these locations
