Contact the parties to whom the checks were written and inform them that you do not have the funds to cover the checks and you would like to work out a payment arrangement that you can afford.

i have found that if you call the companies, they can be pretty understaning, espeacially in these times. perhaps you can offer what you have to pay? being upfront with them will only help you.

If you don't mind me asking, Gust,..why did you write a check to Bingo? ..to buy something from them? well.........if it does bounce, I would assume you would get bounce check fees from your bank and ( possibly?) from the place where you wrote the check.

i agree, i got charged fees from the place i wrote the check to as well as my bank when i wrote a bad check before.
the only way to really get it worked out is to contact who you wrote the check out to.

if you write a check and it bounces, it is a bad check.
