If you have been reported to EWS, do NOT open an account at Bank of America. They might open the account, but they will close it at a later time.

What exactly is EWS? I have had an account with BoA for a long time (opened accounts before I was on chexsystem) but now I am on chexsystem. It looks like EWS is mainly for fraud protection and I am not reported to chexsystem for fraud. Do I have anything to worry about? I have contacted BoA in the past and they have said if my account is open and active they will NOT close my account. Any insight?
