I actually knew about that and forgot about it. I ordered my checks from Liberty through my credit union. I also have ordered checks from Styles Check Company and haven't had any problems to date. (sure enough I say that now hopefully nothing bad will happen And I know I was on chexsystems, although I think it's been about 5 years now.

Anyone know what happens after 5 years with chexsystems?

You only remain on chex for 5 years . Then you should be free to open an account at any bank.

Lady, you can ask chex for a copy of your report..From what I hear they are pretty decent about giving it. Then, you will know exactly where you stand before opening an account.

Liberty and Styles should be just fine, they are not part of Deluxe. As far as chexsystems ...do not assume that after 5 years that they will remove you as they should. Most times than not after 5 years you will need to pull your report and if you are not removed, you will need to file a dispute and then they will remove you. To get a copy of your report go to chexhelp.com

In order to get a copy to you have to say that you were denied writing a check somewhere?

Chex system is where a bank will report you to , for abuse on your account. If it is overdrawn and closed , or if you have too many bounced checks. The bank will close the account a report you to chex system. It makes it so hard to open another account

chexsystem is an affiliate of deluxe check printers that banks report checking account abuse and it prevents people from opening new accounts if they have been overdrawn and mishandled their checking accounts.

They usually advertise in the Sunday ads for very decent first order prices.

Hey, mca. How about "Identity Checks"? I used to order from them before (this was awhile ago). Are they "safe", do you know? Thanks for any help, mca!
