it seems that the main things is that the branches have less power, which in my experience is never too good.. i still prefer commerce, but they were my very first bank and i banked with them for many years.

I've have had the worst experiences with TD so called bank. They re-order your debits highest to lowest then post your deposit after they charge you for overdrafts. I also had them charge me overdraft fee's for their overdraft charge...go figure. I'm finally getting a lawyer and had enough of being ripped-off by them...

I can imagine how frustrating this is for you. I can tell you that many many banks do exactly what you have described. It is very common.
