If this happened 4 yrs ago, you should be removed next year. Options for a non-chexsystems bank depend on where you live. What is your zip code?

I can tell you that there really are no banks in CA that I have ever found that do not use chexsystems. I have been researching banks all over this country for more than 9 yrs now and I have never found any in the state of CA. There are some other options there as well as banks that may make an exception depending on what your report actually says. What is your zip code there? Do you know of fraud is reported? Also feel free to email me at mca@chexsystemsvictims.com if you prefer

I am on checksystems and opened a Bank of America account and they closed it due to checksystem.

I hear US Bank will check but they forgive and give people 2nd chances, so after reading this post last night I went there to day in the Safeway branch here in Denver and they opened it.

I will not hold my breath and see after 2 weeks if it stays open or not. I have 3K with bank of America and I am waiting for them to mail me my check.

If the account gets closed down I will update you all.

Thanks

US Bank does tend to approve many people reported to chexsystems . This is especially true when you apply at an "in store branch" only as you did. It is common to be approved when "fraud" is not indicated on the report. Generally if fraud is indicated on the report, they will deny you.

Once US Bank opens an account they will NOT close it as long as it stays in good standing so you have no need to worry about this account closing.
