this bank AMERICa is a gold diger and my husband just gave them 175 dollars last month and now they want 495,00 dollars .my husband told me they put fee of 60 dollars last month,i saw he said in the telephone ,loan shark ... the credit card BANK AMERICA they send to him after his mother dies in 2004 was a 5000 dollars credit card .since 2004 he pays them already 1000 and now he needs to pay 4000 dollars.when his mother was alive my husband, and my brother in law had 17000 dollars in a joint account in bank america and i think my brother in law took all the money because he is a responsable brother... .he pays the condominium here .after that bank america send a credit card to my husband of 5000 dollars and know BANK AMERIca wants to robber all his disability check .other thing they didnt send a statement this month.i want to thanks this forum more one time.

Try figure out how much you exactly owe to them. If it seems that they are charging more than the exact figure, contact them ask for explanation. Negotiation is the best process that can help in this matter.

Also you have mentioned that this account is a joint account. Then why are you taking all the responsibility alone? Ask your brother in law to share the obligation as well.

Tania, the calculations are done on a specific date. If that date came in between 9th and 12th of May, I guess it's possible.
