Does my tax refund, which is usually pretty sizable, pay off my bankruptcy faster? I am on an 84% payoff plan, so my refund goes to the trustee--I think.

When did you file your Ch 13? I filed mine in May of 2007 and the trustee did not get my refund that I filed this past January.

Cdollar,

Do you want the trustee to take your tax refund to possibly pay off your BK? Since you said you just filed last month, the trustee would not discharge your case this soon if your tax refund was enough to pay it off because a debtor has to stay in a Ch 13 for a minimum of 3 years for a discharge.
