I need to find a cheap bankruptcy attorney ASAP, in the Philly PA area. Where should I look? I tried searching the philadelphia bar association but the site locks up. I dont feel comfortable selecting first page google results because they are probably paid adverts not experienced lawyers. Does anyone know a good resource for exp. BK lawyers. Any help will be greatly appriciated.

Look in the phone book under bankruptcy attorneys.

Be aware - Cheap often times means you get what you paid for.
When I was looking at hiring a lawyer, I went the cheap route too. In the end, I decided to file myself on my own.
At the creditor's meeting, the lawyer I'd almost went with was there with some clients. They went before me. Their case got thrown out because the lawyer had filed the couple's bk jointly, when they weren't married! Duh! I was sure glad I didn't end up hiring him!!
