My house was discharged in my chptr 7 bk, although I continue to pay both my first and 2nd mortgage am I legally responsible for paying the pmi insr?

Your debts has been discharged in your bankruptcy filing. You're personally not liable for paying the mortgage dues. Your private mortgage insurance will pay off the lender in full. However, you should check out with your mortgage insurance company whether or not you need to pay the PMI any more.
