Okay so I spoke with my paralegal today and she also does a Credit Repair and she can actually get the BK taken off your credit report. I asked her how and she says it is all in a letter and how you state it. She charges 599 to do this I thought WOW I would love to do it but can not. Does anyone know anything about this or how to do this?

I don't know that I would pay $599 to have a BK removed from my credit report - how can you be sure it will actually be removed? If she is charging you $599 to simply write a letter, I would be highly suspicious.
BK is a matter of public record, like a judgement or any other court action, and remains on your credit report for a set number of years. I have yet to see anyone have BK successfully removed by simply writing a letter...even a $599 letter.

That doesn't even sound right. It is like Sue says it does stay on your record for like 7 or 10 years..I know it was on mine.

She has been doing this for 9 years and has had a lot of customers that do this. She said it also comes off your record comes off of everything. She said if I did it I do not pay until she proves that it is cleared.. Well I know I am not going to pay 599 for a letter. HHHMMM maybe I should search around and google this and try to figure it out

A BK stays on your report for ten years and it'll get eliminated form your record after this time period. As Sue has mentioned its a public record and I doubt if a simple letter can eliminate it form the report.
I know it sounds great to be able get rid of those ugly remarks from your report but her claim doesn't sound right to me.
Look before you leap...if you don't want to end up in a worse position.

Given what Cajun is mentioning above, I would avoid this like the plague. Sounds like a bad deal to me. Your paralegal is not giving you all the facts.
