After a very long 3 years, we have filed our BK on 8/28 and had our 341 this morning, everything looks good. So now its make the payments for about 2.5 years and we will be truly done!!!!

I've not been on in a while, but wanted to let all my buddies here now, I'm doing well and finally on the road to financial recovery

Hope all is well with all of you, Reny

Congratulations and good luck with everything. It sounds like you just did a chapter 13, I'm looking into doing that as well in a few months. I just want to get myself in a better position where I can be on a strict budget for the next three years.

Yes it was a chapter 13. We took about a year getting "settled" before we filed. You must live on a a pretty strict budget while in the plan so I had to ensure all the "little" stuff was taken care of before we did it. I think it was the best thing for us to do. I only wish I would have done it a couple of years ago. I would have saved myself a lot of grief!
