I was ripped off by a real estate agent regarding an estate. The real estate agent did not pay me back estate monies, so the state of Maryland has entered a judgment against me for the remaining unpaid amount owed by the real estate agent. Can I file bankruptcy to rid the large judgment?

Yes, you should be able too. That is why we filed a bankruptcy, to stop a judgment, also bankruptcy is really your only way to stop this judgment in its tracks quickly. But you should contact lawyer and let them advise you on what to do.

Can you sue the real estate agent and recoup the money to pay the judgement?

Aren't realty companies insured against cases of agent fraud. It can't be the first time that a real estate agent has committed fraud.
