None of us had an agreement with Wilshire. Our home mortgages were sold to Wilshire from the now defunct "New Century Mortgage" and you know where they are. This company is a joke. We also now owe more than we did when our loan first originated 5 years ago. I have turned them over to the FTC, Texas Attorney General, BBB, and Federal Banking Commission. Someone has to help all of us find and attorney to take these people down. There has to be someone who will help us. We are good people who have tried to do everything right and are losing our homes due to the completely illegal action of this company. | |

A "unpaid"debt is turned over to a credit and collection agency when it is not paid. Wilshire is collecting "home mortgages" and these are not "bad debts" but only home mortgages. You are wrong. This company has hundreds upon hundreds of violations against them. Please read "Wilshire Lawsuit" page and you will find "horror" stories. This company needs to be shut down. | |

Hi Ben,I recently got a letter from Island Financial Group LLC, saying I owe money from 1999 under a fingerhut account. I know this is bogus because in 1999 I was 9yrs old. I read a forum you posted about them back in 2005 and all the other people had the same claim (that it was an unpaid fingerhut account). I really worried about this. I'm really sure that they are not legit. | |

Its not true that you have to go to court first, my wages are being garnished and i had no idea about any of it. I had to call the courts myself to see who it was that was doing the garnishing, so the answer is, no you dont have to go to court, if they want to garnish, they will no matter what. | |
