Although there need to be some goal to reach in your life. Some think of money/wealth, some are running after earning popularity, some are hungry about acquiring power to rule, even some are sacrificing themselves for the betterment of society - so the definition of achieving success is always relative. To me, success -> happiness, satisfaction and peacefulness. If I can make myself and others related to me happy, I feel that I have achieved something. Although there need to be some goal to reach in your life. Some think of money/wealth, some are running after earning popularity, some are hungry about acquiring power to rule, even some are sacrificing themselves for the betterment of society - so the definition of achieving success is always relative.

Once we achieve something in life, we dream bigger.. until we end up being frustrated. It is not that one should stop dreaming, but at the same time should enjoy every bit of success he achieves in life.. success is like a staircase, you climb one step at a time. We are always pining for bigger and better things in life, and the small hurdles that we overcome before the culmination of the journey itself is what is called Success. Because once we reach the end of the road, there is nowhere to go. We cannot proceed further and eventually we have to turn back. Success is not only self-defined, it is an illusory, abstract idea which drives us towards a desired goal, which we never quite achieve.
