I just wanted to let you know why I haven't been on much lately, well the last week we have been sick.

But if you remember, my friends' 13 year old daughter was kidnapped and murdered, but they couldn't find her. We have had a bunch of searches with no luck.

Well, on Good Friday, some kid found her in a place they had never thought to look in!

The realy neat thing, besides the family finally getting some closure, is that they found her 3 days before he goes to court(Monday).

Thank you all for your prayers and concern for this family..Karen

Oh, man......

Karen, I hadn't heard about your friend's daughter. You and you friend, and both families will be in our thoughts. If there's anything you need that I can help with, you know how to find me.

Thanks Unc!! She disappeared in early November, after she was picked up from school by her sisters boyfriend.

I went to his preliminary and they had witnesses that said they saw her fighting him off in the car later. It's a shame they didn't call the police and give a tag number or report it, maybe she would have been saved, who knows.

But thanks for your support!..Karen

Karen, I am happy to hear you all and especially her family will have closure. I know the situation is still very painful for them and will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

Karen, so sorry to hear you've been sick! Send me a PM, chickie, and we'll catch up! Smile

Also so glad to hear there will finally be closure for your friend's family - though it's not the result they wanted, at the very least, they have some closure on this issue, and they can move forward with prosecuting the pants off that creep.

Thanks all of you for your kindness and support.

He went to court Monday--the judge post poned it until June. They now have to decide which county he will be tried in, the one where he took her, or the one where she was found. Actually, they usually go by where the crime was committed, but I don't think they will be able to figure it out.

|Will keep everyone updated when something happens

Thanks to all my DCC family..Karen Community Hug

" Saffle, a spokesman for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, said Monday that remains found Friday have been positively identified as belonging to missing teen Cori Baker.

Her identity was confirmed through dental records, Saffle said. A skull and other remains were found Friday near a paint ball range in Creek County, north of the Creek Turnpike near South 49th West Avenue."

Marquis Bullock Appears In Court

Marquis Bullock was in Tulsa County District Court on Monday.
Marquis Bullock was in Tulsa County District Court on Monday.

Marquis Bullock was in Tulsa County District Court on Monday. During the preliminary hearing, his attorney, once again, asked for the murder charges to be dismissed.

She originally wanted the case dropped because no one could prove the victim, Cori Baker, was dead.

Since the girl's remains were found last week in Creek County, Bullock's attorney now says Tulsa County has no jurisdiction in the case.

The judge told everyone to be back in court in June to hear his ruling on that request and others.
