Two of my online payday loans Unitedcashloans and Magnum Cash Advance have a desist and refrain order against them in my state California. My question is.... Since they have this order against them does that make my contract with them null & void????

The AG of your state will be the best contact and inquire about your contact with the loan company. I am not sure if the refrain order will make the contract null and void if it was signed before the order was passed.

The orders were passed at the end of 2006 i took both of these loans out a couple of months ago.

In that case, I will only think that the company did an illegal contract with you after refrained from doing business. Can you get this matter verified with your AG? Seeing your complaint, they will put an investigation on the company

Absolutely this makes your contract null and void. They were not supposed to loan money there. Contact your AG office ASAP. They can be fined out their behinds for doing business there. KYSIDE38
