Acceptable Payment  To get the benefit of debt settlement a debtor must pay 2% of balance or $10. 00 whichever is higher.
Account Numbers  The account numbers of the company comprise of 16 digits beginning with 518913 and 51891310
Notes  These are Providian accounts that were transferred to Merrick Bank - Card Service Center. Once accounts are transferred, Card Services Center changes the account to a 16 digit account number beginning with 5189. They will honor the benefits on accounts that were previously accepted by Providian. If not accepted by Providian, Card Services Center will then require a new proposal. Card Service Center will lower client\'s APR to 12%. They stop over- the- limit fees once the proposal is accepted. Late fees will be stopped once the 3rd payment is received. The company also varies on pulling accounts from collection agencies. It also does not accept RPS payments.
