I got stuck with these "bank" who tell me they are a bank after getting a water softener with Aquativa. Aquativa told me they were originally the city inspecting water as there was a water main break, dead of winter I believed them. Gave them a sample then they come in tell us that they are suggesting that we get a filter for all of the city. We can go with a financial assistance to help us. I recently learned Carmel is also a credit card company and they told me they had sent me my card and I told them five months ago I never recieved it. Which now I am in debt with these guys and harassing me daily, hourly.

just found out today that I have a lien on my house from carmel financial for the deck that was built. I have paid on it for over two years, and they have only taken a couple hundred dollars off the orginial balance even though the payments are $166 a month. the interest rates are through the roof... the contractor that got me to sign for this said it was a home improvement loan... i found out later its considered revolving credit. My credit score went down 200 points and still has not recovered at all.

I am here for a diferent reason. my husband and I bought a vacuum cleaner over 12 yrs ago and this financial took over the bill...we went to court over this and the judge told them since they did not have enough evidence against us they needed to come back at a later time and present the case..well they never did and now I have this company sending me letters telling me we owe them over 5,000 dollars for a bill that is over 12 yrs old, and the reason we quit making payments to the vacuum dealer was because they promised after the 3 payments were made they would send us some special accessories for the vacuum. well we did send in those 3 payments and got nothing so we stopped making payment. so they turened us over to this financial collector. well it looks like they will be sued for harrasment because they told me once over the phone they had no record of the court time that took place. I told them that was there attorneys fault not mine and hung up.

Upon preparation for a streamline refinancing of my home I too found out that there was a lien placed on our property. I am taking them to a small cliams court due to nothing being stated that there would be a lien placed there is no way in the world I would allow someone to place a lien on a $200k house for a purifying system for $6,000.00 that is unheard of.

Attempting to refi. my home, found out a lien had been put out on my home by carmel financial, was told by them I would have to pay from 300-700.00 to release the lien. Turned them over to the better business bureau. If you guys haven't maybe you need to do so. They need to be put out of business

Hello, Carmel Financial has been after me for a water softener that I paid for years ago. I have been summons to court, the commanded to appear at a deposition and they offer a settlement which my attorney wanted to see. Once I had my attorney was on the phone with them they stooped answering calls, no mail, nothing. What now?? Do I just sit back and wait for them to summons me? Anyone know how to get this done forever?? They just don't go away. I think a class action law suit might fix them.
