my father worked with this institution and what he felt is they carry formalities a bit too far.

They service at their own pace, as if the whole world can wait for them

My neighbor just called me at work to tell me they called we both laughed. This is so lame. A simple letter would have been fine.
I hope they call everyone in my neighborhood so we can have a block party on Saturday and I can collect money in a jar like savekaryn.com minus the website.

"The tech-savvy company has 17 year track record of succesful receivables recovery."

You obtain your 'success' by harassing and humiliating your clients. You harassed my family, spouse numerous times and left messages upon messages that were not appropriate. If I ever meet the gentelmen that handled my account, I will gladly punch him in the face and walk away. This company is ruthless and disrespectful. I hope someday your account services reps are harrassed and be-littled like you made me feel about my $700.00 debt.

I had a settlement offer rescinded because I was being "rude" by not telling them where I was obtaining the money to pay my settlement.

I recently received harassing phone calls from them. They contacted me at work repeatedly, went so far as to contact my mother and sister to harass them, they then (without my permission) divulged the entire content of my credit report to my mother, and continued to threaten to contact the Payroll department of my job and my supervisor as well.

Then you have them nailed on violations of the fdcpa if they are not the original creditor. Disclosing a debt to a third party is a BIG no-no. Report them and sue them blind!

They are one of the shadiest collection agencies in the industry. They always threaten to sue clients. First of all, they are not a law firm. Second, most of the time they are not in the same state as the client. They are not reputable nor do they have a proven 17 year track record of success.

Not only are they shady, I here they use over the phone payments as a way of paying themselves and not your debts. I talked to Hal Wheeler, who sounded like he was uneducated and toothless. He was pushy, rude, disrespectful and laughed at me when I told him I didn't have $514.00 to give him over the phone right then and there! Watch out for these guys, they are way shady!

I have received multiple messages from Client services, but have never spoken with them directly. My grandmother received calls. the first time it really worried my grandmother because they said they were looking for me and having been able to get ahold of me. my grandma thought it was one of my friends worried about me that maybe knew her name and looked her number up to check and see if she'd seen me. I was puzzled and told her I had no idea maybe they were looking for someone else with my name. It wasnt until she got another call recently and the person asked if I was there and asked for my number.grandma took their number and called me with it. I called the number and got a client service message. Is it legal for them to look up anyone in the same lastname in the phone book and call them because my grandmother has never even been listed as reference or emergency contact on any financial statement.

I sued them and won. Sent them a cease and desist letter. Collector said I didn't pay my bill so they didn't have to do what I said. Bought a $60 tape recorder on ebay and put it on tape. Got around $1,000 (can't recall exactly) and then settled the debt with the next collector using their money!

I do not give out credit information to people who call me. I asked for a number to return the call and they refused to give it to me. What reputable "credit recovery" firm won't give out contact information?
