Letter to AR Tech

the ink is out on my printer will ar tech accept a hand written letter? if so what should i say abut my account with fsm and them trying to charge me 600.00 for a 250.00 loan. all help is appreciated

There are limitations on fees and finance charges that can be levied in each state. You should do some searches as I'm sure there's a few references on where you can find that in here somewhere.

Also, a letter is a letter, just make sure you write it in ink and not pencil. They shouldn't have any issues accepting a hand written letter.

ok i just wrote them a letter asking them to settle for 375.00 which is the total amount the loan would of been. will send if off tommorrow and i also aske dthem t obe able to pay monthly payments til it was paid for. wish me luck and if anyone know of anything i should add pls tell me before wednesday. thanks

Go ahead and send the letter. I hope your proposal works out. Send your letter through CMRRR and keep a copy documented in your file for records. I am assuming you must have verified the information that ART is authorized for this collection. Get in writing that after the account is paid off, they will update your file with the bureaus. You will be able to cover your grounds strongly.

OK, before you put your payment proposal, send a debt validation to make sure that ART is legally authorized for this collection. You have the legal rights to ask for a debt validation from the collection agency. After you hear from them, make your payment proposal. Just think, you cannot send your money to someone who is not having your account information properly.

i sent my certified letter today to ar tech. telling them i want proof they have all my paperwork from fsm group on my account. got my fsm loan packet documents in the postal mail and in email from fsm so they agreeed to that. i stated in the letter to ar that i also wanted to settle for 375 instead of 600 and told them the oklahoma law of payday loans. so i will up date you all on what happens. but i gotta get off here and get to work. toodles
