Keep a list of the phone calls with dates and time. This will help you for records if the company violates the federal laws in the future. The company needs to identify themselves as per the Mini Miranda disclosure.

But..It could be anyone's voice! Do you hear anything at all in the background? When I used to get those, sometimes I heard static, sometimes I heard nothing, and other times it sounded like a boiler room.

I have been getting the 000-000-0000 calls for over a month now but it never even rings a full ring, it rings enough for me to get to the phone but before I can ever pick it up it stops, then last week I got two calls from 818-528-2304, it rang the same way. When I call the 000-000-0000 number back it says please try your call again, when I try to call the 818 number it says there's no such number. How am I getting calls from numbers that don't exists?

Good question! I'm getting the same calls as well and just thought I was being stalked! How can they be verifying your number if they don't actually verify that you live there? Can't figure that one out...

One day they said who they wanted to speak to. I was late on my truck payment and the ooo-000-0000 was gmac.I ask them if that number belonged to them and they said yes .
