Hmm, I just typed a response but it doesn't seem to be posting, lemme try again, I guess what I was saying is that basically it's too bad most collectors are assholes, sounds like someone hit your last nerve last time they called, well anyways, I guess most of us develope this rude personality when we are lied to contantly. I actually found proof of this one blogger LYING in her BLOG post... Her name is "Cherrie" and you can find her blog by searching Central Portfolio Control on this website. Anyways, she was all hyped up because she claimes we kept calling HER home for her ex-husband who owed money, she claimed her ex had never lived or even BEEN to her home, which she provided the phone# in the blog posting, I searched her husbands file on our database and we HAD infact SPOKEN to her husband at the number she claimes was to her home which her husband had never been... my point is that MOST everybody LIES straight up when we call them, THEREFOR, most collectors develope this pre-determined idea that you are lying to them. And we're thinking basically if you're lying to us and not paying, we're not putting as much food on the table as we could if you're telling the truth and paying - so that pretty much makes us feel like your taking food off our tables ya damn lying hillbillies NOW PAY ME!! Haha, well anyways, on my own behalf, I prefer helping honest people pay there debts, if you say you don't know the debtor when we call I simply delete the number, no sense in calling over and over with the same "Wrong number" response, see the definition of insanity. Well I guess I covered most everything... so long, debtors - now go pay your bills, or I'll destroy your credit report with notes claiming refusal to pay!

Wyatt, I was just getting to like you a little bit in your posts until you said go pay your bills and the threat of destroying my CR was uncalled for. This is a debt consolidation care forum (this website is here to help me pay my bills)

Forgive me if I seem jaded but I've had too many people come on here in the past bleating "PAY YOUR BILLS DEBTOR SCUM!" and it's kinda getting old. I am a debtor because I am in debt, but I'm getting myself out of debt. I request validation from collection agencies (so I know I'm paying the right individual), as soon as they send me validation I immediately call them so that I can work something out.

My advice to you is don't call people here debtors (even though anyone who owes money to anyone is considered a debtor, including utilities) or tell people here to pay our bills. That can be very touchy verbage to use and will usually generate some negative response due to some previous guests that come here to rant and rave about that. Just try toning it down on that, keep it civil and feel free to stick around.

At the same time I try to treat everyone differently because I realize that not everyone is the same, regardless of their profession. I will be willing to give you the benefit of doubt.

Wyatt you can tone down your posting or we can revoke posting rights here. Everyone here will obey our board rules or will be kicked out. This is not a personal playground to bring personal business to,it is a forum to give ideas and knowledge. If you claim you have proof of someone lying,then save it in case your firm is sued.

I do what I can to help. It's little enough.

It just pisses me off when CAs pull the kind of low, underhanded crap that makes us all love them so much. Nobody here is a doormat to be walked on at some collector's whim. If enough of us band together to share knowledge and information, we can make the underhanded collectors' lives very uncomfortable. That's why I'm here.

Well, I guess I'll answer my own question. It's debt consolidation Care. This site helps people PAY THEIR BILLS, wow, what a concept. It also doubles as consumer advocacy. We help by educating people of the rights they are granted via federal and state statutes. If someone's rights have been violated we teach them how to fight back. We encourage people to pay the bills they owe. But we also want to make sure they are not paying anything that is illegally inflated or pay to a company they do not owe.

You should check out the consolidation services this site offers. I'll probably be enrolling in it soon myself to so that they can work with my creditors and lower my payments. Great services.

I'm not just doin' this for comic relief, ya know. Shills in general just piss me off. Shills for CAs really piss me off. I don't like the idea that they might hassle or confuse somebody who came in here scared and in need of help. There's enough of that in the Real World, we don't need it here. So I point them up as what they are.

I agree uncle and I was down right mean before I started moderating.Now I have to try and manage the board within our rules.I also have been known to go off on these type of guests when they go too far.
