Hello Guys, I have missed you all so much. I am sorry I havent got to be on here much. I had surgery the day after labor day and I think everything that can happen HAS!!! This one has been a butt-kicker. I have no energy and have developed one infection after another. That is part of being a diabetic. Tomorrow I go to the university here to see about getting a insulin pump. I hope everything works out. I would like to feel normal again. Thanks so much for all the messages. You all do feel like family. Hopefully soon I will get back giving my all to getting rid of payday scum....lol. Miss You All KYSIDE38

My friend's dad has diabetes and problems with the infections. He spent 460 days in the hospital a few years back. It was horrible. But he's a stubborn old goat and wouldn't listen to the doctors. Razz

Keep a check on your sugar. That's a bad thing to happen if the sugar level rises. Be cautious and don't stress much. That also increases the sugar level.

Hi. You don't know me but just wanted to say I've talked to people who have had the insulin pump, and they say it's much easier than the regular injections - and I think they regulate your blood sugar better. Good luck to you.
