Some automated woman from 319-274-1904 keeps leaving me a message, but the message doesn't state what company she is calling from. Any help out there?

i just called them and asked what company they are he said CBE.... ??? i said what does that stand for he said NOthing I said what do you guys do there he said we do alot of things i said id this a collection company he then laughfed i then said it sounds like a fraud company too me.... he laughfed i hung up i hope this helps..

I heard this company is a switchboard for a number of other companies. One of them is DirectTV. If you owe a balance to someone, they are trying to track it. If you don't owe anyone, file your complaints under state statutes for business violations. They may offer you a plea bargain.

I should have added that when you call they will not disclose what they do or who they are, I've tried that from a different number, caller ID scares me :0 They would not tell me anything, the woman said they "
do a lot of things" whatever that means. I thought I paid my Direct TV bill when I changed to DISH, that seems about the most logical to me I will have to go back and see if the check cleared. Thanks

I received a call from an automated female voice and called back and spoke to Sara. I asked the lady what Company she worked with and she said it was CBE in Waterloo IA. I asked what CBE stood for and she said..."it doesn't stand for anything". I asked what her company did and she said 'she could not disclose that'. This company sounds shady at best...even for a collection company. I don't even have a DTV OR DISH account and am still getting these disturbing calls. Its ridiculous and I wish there were some way to report this.

i called them and asked them to please stop calling, they were trying to reach the wrong person it seems, the guy was nothing but apologetic and he said they would not be calling me again.

Ok, I received a voicemail from Eric @ 866-335-4321 stating this would be his last attempt, (at what I don't know) and when I call him back he never answers and doesn't call back. The number is 866-335-4321 and says it is Central Credit. Does anyone know if this is a CA that works with PDL's and if so which ones so I can report him to Langhorne. Thanks Pauli'sGirl

These people call approx 6 times a day. Everytime they call they refuse to tell me who they are or what they want. When I ask them this they always say "you know who I am calling on behalf of and why" then just sit there. I usually end up hanging up on them as they don't say anything more.

THIS IS GETTING VERY ANNOYING!!!!! How can I resolve the problem/pay the bill/whatever if they will not tell me anything!

Lily, Not to be obnoxious but change your number and keep it unlisted. I am moving in a couple weeks and it will require my phone number to change, and I can actually say I will now plug my phone in again. I can't tell you how long I've had it unplugged because of CA calls from pdls and unsolicited collect calls for the previous owner of the number.

Even thought the costs are a ripoff, lol. I have Directv, and they continually raise the rates. I pay, sure, but when it gets too high, I am going with another company. Maybe Dish.

Wow Scott West. Glad you threw your .02 in. You just insured that I discontinue your service like today and I'm not poor or broke. Is that indicative of customer service with Direct TV? I think maybe you might want to brush up on your communication skills, I'm sure your corporate office would appreciate it. YOu've missed your true calling. You should go to work for CBE.

We cannot get DC where I live. Lucky to have DSL for my computer. We do have a Cable Company, but only channels 2-13, and 17-22.

Unless they updated.

We got Satellite in 2002, because Cable had a lot of static on the local stations. Ans Satellite has hundreds of channels.
