Raffi, I will first make sure that the money sent till now is posted towards your account. You can request for the latest balance and some info so that you have it in papers. This will confirm that your money went to the right place so far. Then, call the original company and request for some payment arrangements. Most of the times, collection agencies don't do any payment arrangements. But you can put your request to them. They may or may not accept it but if you deal with the original creditor and if your file is with them, there may be some chances of payment arrangements and you won't have to deal with the CA after the file is pulled back from them.
