The number for Midland Credit Management is 800-282-2644. They are a collection agency collecting for one of your past debts. You should get the debt validated in writing within five business days after the first phone call.

Check your mail if you have got something. In case, they haven't sent you the debt details and have reported in your credit report, send a debt validation letter asking for the info. There should be legal reasons if they are reporting in your credit file. If they can't give you the info, you need to dispute their item with the CRA and get the negative removed from your file. This can be hurting your credit on false reasons.

Make sure you contact them right away and get this matter resolved. My cousin had an old Finger Hut account go to them. She doesn't remember getting anything from them at all and she was served papers in June for a court date. She was just recently sued and they are garnishing her wages. Defiantly make sure you contact them to work something out. My cousin didn't put much effort into contacting and now she is paying for it. (literally)
