Does anyone know if Ellis Crosby is in fact affiliated with bass and associates? Any documentation?

Their collection tactics are very very very similar. They must have used the same training manuels.

Address of both the companies comes out to be the same in FL. Collection tactics are shady and similar with both companies. Last year, this time Ellis Crossby was all over, this time it's Bass and Associates.
Beauty, can you kindly give one real reason why you think we shouldn't believe both the companies to be one?

They have the same address??
Ellis, supposedly is out of business, but it is rumored that they are operating under a different name. I've never dealt with them, so I really haven't followed them too much..
Search the forum for Ellis Crosby..I don't that there is a LOT of information here about it.

I have dealt with both of them. Ellis last year and Bass this year. Their threats and etc are much the same. I agree with whoever said that they must have been taught from the same manuals. LOL

They are not the same company. Nor are they affiliated. If that was the case, ALA (allen lewis and associates have the same tactics and they are in jacksonville too.

Just b/c they use the same scare tactics doesn't mean they are affiliated. Alot of ca rather you know it or not use these tactics rather there in florida or not. A ca called me that was located in texas (dnt remember the name) saying that they were going to press charges against me if i dnt pay them bk their money and this was in regaurds to hospital bills which do show up on your credit report. And initially they can sue me but by law they are not allowed to say certain things no matter what.

what is the story regarding Ellis Crosby and Associates. I remember last year or a year and a 1/2 sending a letter to the AG in florida and still never hearing anything. I thought I read somewhere that there was supposed to be a lawsuit and if the AG won then everyone would get $1000. what ever happened to this?

I think that they are still going on with the lawsuit and are still on them. Ellis Crosby is supposedly closed and gone bankrupt. Now there is this other company Bass & Associates, that seems to be the same one. I know everyone will argue that they are not associated with one another, but I kinda feel different b/c I have dealt with both.
