I have no contact information on a company called Power Funding where I took out a $250 payday loan. My account has been debited $180 for 4 months, needless to say they have their money back. A lady by the name of Amber Noui contacted me from United Processing Division and stated if I don't pay off the loan in the amount of $685 she would send 25 people to my home and work to collect. ( no lie) Any suggestions?

I have been contacted by them as well regarding a debt that I was told was with another agency. First of all they have their money back so make sure the Bank knows you do not authorize any more ACS transactions from this company. DO NOT PAY THEM UNTIL THEY SEND IT TO YOU IN WRITING. Ask for debt validation. make sure they send you the amount they tell you owe and where it comes from.

What state are you in. We have filed suit against United in Jacksonville, FL for their abusive practices.

Story, can you please provide more information. Is United its own company. My understanding is that United is just a fictitious wing of Bass and Associates.

I received a call to my employer from a "Tom Jackson" from United Processing Division with a very heavy indian accent requesting that I call within 30 minutes 305-433-8364. I called and he of course answered with another name (I didn't catch it nor would he repeat it). He wouldn't identify what company he was with or collecting for and I wouldn't provide him with my SS#. He in turn had me call 732-203-7708 (someone named Alex a Chief Investigator). I wouldn't give him my social either, so he advised that I would be arrested in 45 - 60 minutes, but he needed to verify my address first...LOL(no joke). He said he was sending an arrest warrant to my place of employment and that I would need a lawyer, I would lose my job, I would lose my kids, my life was going to change today. I hung up and kept working. I wil only deal with the original company (Arrowhead Investments??). If they don't accept the money, then I will go shopping.

I actually received my return receipt back from Bass but haven't yet received validation. If you want to correspond with them by mail, the mailing address I sent it to was 314 W. 44th St, Jacksonville FL 32208
