Do Creditors look at Medical debts differently than other types of debt? I have several Medical collections on my credit report.Approx.$1,200
how is this going to effect my credit report and score ??????

Credit is already tarnished because collections are considered as R9 ratings. However, you can slightly improve your ratings by paying off the debt. It will be reported as "Paid Collections" . This will give better impact on your credit if not the best.

Check your state laws. I know in Oregon medical collections cannot be reported on your credit report. I have several and they do not show on any of my reports.
