oh wow, temp mgr is mad at me.
I think you misunderstood me..I work for Consumer's Energy. They hire temps during outages..And those temps get paid well. I have a college degree and an upper-level position, and these unskilled laborers get paid more than me..Maybe I should be a temp, huh?
So smile, temp mgr..And it doesn't blow my skirt up to tell you you're wrong. You can't piss me off today..tomorrow is my birthday!!! Besides, Jess is the crabby one around here

My bet is the Guest who posted above about the salt is probably the same Guest who posted the thread that he/she is ripping on now! Good poster/bad poster all rolled into one. I am a manager at a temp agency and I can tell you for a fact NO ONE makes $24.00/hr and $38.0/hr on Saturdays. If that were the case, everyone would be going to temp agencies. Get real Guest.
Ever heard of a company called GM There moron? Its a large car manufacturing plant. Their pay rates are very nice. When they get new contracts they hire temps to fill the extra spaces just incase the contract doesnt do well...
As for the 38/h on saturdays - thats called overtime. Its mandatory. Maybe your company ripps off its employees?
Maybey your crappy company doesnt get good contracts or maybe you just dont because.. well....no comment.
The reason why not everybody works for temp agencies is pretty clear right in the name... TEMP... Duh!
I wouldnt continue on your betting spree... you dont want to loose your trailor. Dont be mad that regular temps are making way more than you do honey.. jealousy never got anyone anywhere.

Sorry, couldnt help it. I usually dont do that, but that persons level if ignorance* made me frustrated. How could someone possibly know what the rates for working are in the entire world based on their salary....
Im sending this comment to my old Temp agency as we speak. Super funny.
* not ignorance as in rude, but the accual meaning of ignorance as in doesnt know any better.

OK,
Can we all do a Rodney King and all get along here? And speaking of $38 bucks an hour (which I for one have never gotten in my life), I know from my time working in medical registries that agencies set one hourly bill rate for a temp. In this case, it might be $38 an hour, but I would bet dollars to donuts that that temp is only getting 60 percent of it and the agency is getting 40 percent. So it makes the picture more realistic.
And I for one am going to be HAPPY on New Year's Day!! The sun is shining in sunny California and Saddam is DEAD!!!!!! Buh-Bye evil despot!!!

Nope, thats AFTER the temp agency takes its cut. We bring home 24 during the week, 38 on saturday if we choose to work or cant manage to squirm out of it if its mandatory.
