Had a bill collector call for my daughter and this is what was said-your daughter has been in a bad wreck and we need an ambulance but can't find any insurance on her,we need 654.00 dollars ,you can use your credit card for the transaction.
I was mad because first my daughter was here looking for jobs on the computer and we had lunch together ,so I told the man on the phone no way and I know that he wanted money.

I heard about this scam a few months ago on a newsbroadcast! Twisted Evil This is so sick and disgusting that words CAN NOT properly describe the sickness behind those a$$holes who started it! Twisted Evil They are not actually bill collectors, if I remember the newstory correctly.

Steve, that is just sick! Do these people even have families that do this? Do they even have a conscience? I'm glad your daughter was home so you weren't worried. Did you report this to anyone?

This surely sounds like a scam. Tried to hit where it could hurt the most!! Nice to know that you were very much cautious.

I would definately do some reporting to people on this situation. First to the police department in your area. This is a bunch of sick people. Also contact the Attorney Generals office and launch complaints. KYSIDE38

The BBB in your area and the Federal Trade Commission should also be notified about this "scam". It doesn't look real to me.

They said they were a bill collector? Sounds more like a scam than from a collection agency. Although I do admit there are bad ones out there but this one sounds more like someone trying to pull wool over your eyes.

That is just DISGUSTING!!!!!! We have an LVN at work who got a call like that that was real over the Christmas holidays. Her son was killed in a motorcycle accident and died instantly. That is just GROSS that anyone would even hint at that!!

No offense to anyone - I'm not a professor but the most common word I see misspelled is "definitely" - define, definitive, definitely. PLEASE copy and paste.
