A S & Accociates demanding money stating they are a check fraud investigator -what is my rights

They are a very nasty collection agency. Their actions are very similar to Ellis Crosby and Bass & Associates. Most of the tactics they use violate the federal and state laws.
Don't worry at all and read this forum. Educate and arm yourself while dealing with these predators. Slap them with a DV letter to know about their authorized collections. Be aware of the FDCPA

Hi,
Send them a debt validation letter asking that they "validate" (prove that you owe) the debt.If they are like Bass and Associates, they will tell you anything, short of the entire Los Angeles Police Dept is coming out to arrest you and your mother at your job--if you don't cough up the cash by 1:58 pm.
You do not have to put up with any harassment whatsoever and do have the right to have this debt proven. The burden of proof is on them.
