I have sent a letter of dispute, but in the meantime, the collection agency for a medical debt calls and leaves messages for my son to call them back - who is now 19 but was 16 at the time - can they do this? do I have any other recourse for that? the agency is RAB,Inc.

It looks like the collector is looking for your son and wants him to pay the debts that he had when he was 16. Did you verify from this CA if they are having his file from the hospital? Once they validate the debt of your son, you need to write them a letter mentioning about the dispute
