Has anybody dealt with Pinion Management?

Hey everybody, I'm currently dealing with Pinion Management on two different accounts. I've tried to work out payment arrangements I can actually make and still pay the rent and keep my utilities on but they will only accept a payoff in two payments, so I can't do it. The lady I spoke to told me if I didn't pay in full by tomorrow they will consider my account a "refusal to pay" and they will take aggressive steps to collect. I asked her what that meant and she said "you are obviously trying to get me to say we will garnish your wages or attach a lien but I'm not going to say that". She stuck to the agressive steps line over and over. Does anybody know what I can expect?

I had them call me about an account a few years back. They are pretty aggressive talkers, but I sent a request for validation via certified mail and never heard from them again. I do recall they called my phone in excess of 10 times a day. I would go through the motions, request validation and sit tight. Don't let them, or any other agency, bully you.

We had a few payday loans and paid them down I had
kept account almost paid off. I dealt with them
and then they started taking money out with-out
authorization I changed my account and they have
called threatening collections on me I told them I wa
wanted it in writing on what I have paid and they
could not even talk to me without mumbling so I
told them to go ahead. I have no heard from them
Terrible to deal with.

I dealt with them last year. I paid them off--my moneygram even stated paid in full. Never received another call from them until January--they said I owed $73!! I told the woman I was paid in full, even told her to read the money gram and call me back. She did said Sorry, that was a mistake and you owe us $73--I said no I didn't don't call me again--and luckily for me I have not heard anymore from them. Adn btw I just checked my cr last night and nothing on it about owing them any money.

They are the worst! They run ameriloan, which is the worst PDL outfit in the country, imho. They call you to death and give you the old Bass and Associates line (If you don't pay up by 1:32 pm CST, we're coming to get ya...)

All of these CAs rely on the psychology of fear, and the fact that most people don't know the law or their rights. That's a reason also that they always create a sense of urgency, as in "pay by tomorrow!". Most are just blowhards, and I would only deal with them in writing, or record conversations if it is legal in your state.
