Ok thought this was kind of strange. I was looking up the address for Paragon funding (I have an old paper with the addy on it)for another member. And I also got the address of I-Collect from my state financial person. and guess what....they are the same address.
Paragon
10120 So. Eastern Avenue
suite 200
Henderson, NV 89052
phone 1-877-286-3600
fax 1-877-276-3600

I-Collect
10120 South Eastern Ave.
suite 200
Henderson, NV 89052-3951
phone1-866-856-1024
fax 1-866-856-1041

Now how can a collection agency AND a payday loan company have the same addy? The only difference is the last 4 numbers in the zip code and the phone numbers

Maybe the same individual owns both of them.

I looked them up and they are in New Zealand. Is this correct?

I don't think so. Could be. I tried to call paragon and they were closed. I want to verify the address for the other member. I will try tomorrow. I also looked it up and came across paragon business funding and called them and they are in no way any part of the payday loan company. So if you come across an addy for Denver, Colorado that is NOT the address.

Isn't I-Collect another DBA of our friends at Sonic? I mean, I think it's connected to Payday Avenue, which is connected to Universal Fidelity...sounds like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon here...So technically it could have an address in New Zealand as well.

I always thought I-Collect was a CA that ipdls send defaulted loans to, and then from there, I-Collect sends them on to Bass & Associates.

yes they are connected somehow to bass but I just thought it was strange that a payday lender has the same addy as a CA.

I have received numerous calls from United Processing because of a payday loan from Crown Lending. I called Crown Lending and they said that they sold the account to I-Collect. I haven't been able to reach anyone there, but I continue to get calls from a man with an Indian accent from this United Processing. He informed me today that they would be arresting me and my husband for this debt. After I requested proof of the debt in writing I was told I wasn't entitled to it and I then ask that they quit calling me and they continued to call! They called a total of 10 times today alone and I reported them to the Attorney General of Alabama. What now?

United processing is the same as united pay services. You need to contact the FL ag and the department of financial inst. of both states, file a claim with the BBB and the FTC. Keep track of when they call you. They have called me before 8:00 A.M. twice and I have record of that. They also called my work several times threatening them that if they cannot speak to me then they will have me arrested. I have those tapes because my work records all phone calls. So stand your ground and keep telling them that you want a DV and that is your right. You can also call I-Collect at the number posted above and if you get a recording enter ext 100. She will also be firm with you. I am not paying them until my state is done investigating them. united pay service will not give me their addy so I cannot send anything in writing to them.

These are related, and they should not be dealt with.

No they cannot arrest you...they use that as a scare tactic to get your money. They tried it on me and I am sitting here not behind bars!
